The long, and painful road to success

I must admit, these past few days have been pure ecstasy for me. Especially today, June 12th, 2018 when the entire city of my hometown, Washington D.C. created a spectacle honoring the achievement of its hockey club, the Washington Capitals, who won the Stanley Cup, the holy grail of North American Hockey, that has beenContinue reading “The long, and painful road to success”

What are your Summer 2018 Plans?

Well with Winter 2017-18 in the books, and Spring moving along, we can all start looking to Summer 2018. I’m now working on the Outline For the 4th and final book of my Leopard King Saga series, The Leopard Resurrection. In addition, I’ll soon begin the arduous process of edited Book 3, The Leopard Apocalypse.Continue reading “What are your Summer 2018 Plans?”

How is Life and Writing similar?

As a writer I get lots of feedback regarding my work. Take my debut novel for example: The Leopard Vanguard. Despite receiving top-notch reviews on both amazon & goodreads, many have complained about the “slow-start” and “difficult” beginning. I’m fully aware these days the diminishing attention-span that plagues most readers, if a book doesn’t grabContinue reading “How is Life and Writing similar?”

What are your goals for 2018?

Back-to-back family Birthdays coming up next week will cap off a productive rest period in which I emerged from the wakeContinue reading “What are your goals for 2018?”

I’m happy to announce that after five long years of writing The Leopard Apocalypse, I’ve finally completed it. What a relief! The journey I started back in October 2012 wrapped up only the other day. It was the most challenging book I’ve ever written, and definitely the longest. Clocking in at over 192 thousand words.Continue reading “The End of a Journey”

November brings fall challenges

It’s been awhile since I posted anything. But wanted to let everyone know it’s been a challenge holding down a busy day job and working on two books. As most of you know I’ve been working on two books for the past few months. The first is Kill Zombies, a novella I self-published back inContinue reading “November brings fall challenges”

September Leopard Apocalypse Update

It’s been a few months since my last update on The Leopard Apocalypse, so I wanted to let everyone know that I’m nearly finished with the first draft. Only three chapters remain to be completed, and I’ll be finished with the longest writing project in my young writing career. What a relief that will be!Continue reading “September Leopard Apocalypse Update”

September arrival signals new project

It’s been awhile since I posted a message. Finally have my right eye back up at 100%. As you may recall, I had retinal detachment surgery in late July and had to wait until my right eye stabilized before getting a new prescription. Now that that’s behind me, I can focus on writing at aContinue reading “September arrival signals new project”
