After a lengthy process The Leopard Apocalypse is now ready to enter the Beta-Reading stage. I’d like to thank my formatter, Mr. Jason Anderson for his hard work. Jason, I could not have gotten this far without you.

Formatting Stage underway

I recently submitted the pre-edited manuscript for THE LEOPARD APOCALYPSE to my formatter before the Beta-Reading stage commences.

I’ve lined up a half-dozen folks to Beta-Read for me. For all you budding writers out there, this is the most critical part of publishing. Beta-Readers help weed out typos, grammatical errors, and most importantly, give feedback on the story.

Of course, it helps to have folks you trust, and these great people have been with me since the beginning.

More information to follow. The release date for The Leopard Apocalypse is projected for November 5th!

Update on The Leopard Apocalypse

After many months of editing I’ve finally completed the editing stage for The Leopard Apocalypse. The only thing left is to insert some quotes and the book will now be turned over to my editor, after which Beta Readers will have a chance to comment on the story and make suggestions.

The release date is set at November 5th and we’re still on course. Fingers crossed of course.

Stay tuned for further updates on The Leopard Apocalypse.

The End of a Journey

LAcover_3D

I’m happy to announce that after five long years of writing The Leopard Apocalypse, I’ve finally completed it.

What a relief! The journey I started back in October 2012 wrapped up only the other day. It was the most challenging book I’ve ever written, and definitely the longest. Clocking in at over 192 thousand words.

Editing will begin late-winter or early-spring 2018.

But I’m not here to gloat about my accomplishment. I hope that my experience writing The Leopard Apocalypse will inspire other budding writers out there to finish their own challenging works.

Of course, within the five years it took me to write this book, I had other writing projects that demanded my attention, but that didn’t take away from the challenge that The Leopard Apocalypse presented.

Anyway, 2017 is almost over. Hope everyone had a great Christmas, and I wish you the best in your writing for 2018!

The Leopard Apocalypse Update

cropped-cropped-the-leopard-apocalypse-banner11.jpg

Wanted to give everyone an update on the 3rd book of The Leopard King Saga, The Leopard Apocalypse. I’ve now moved onto the final chapter. Yes! Finally! After five years, could I finally be finishing this never-ending story? No pun intended of course.

If making it to the final chapter in the first draft is making me this excited, I wonder how I’ll finally feel when I finish the whole thing? I’m still gunning for completion of The Leopard Apocalypse manuscript by the end of this year. Keep your fingers crossed.

I hope everyone out there is enjoying the holiday season, whatever you’re doing, I hope you are enjoying the process, and not the result. That’s where the best stories come from.

September Leopard Apocalypse Update

LAcover_3D

It’s been a few months since my last update on The Leopard Apocalypse, so I wanted to let everyone know that I’m nearly finished with the first draft. Only three chapters remain to be completed, and I’ll be finished with the longest writing project in my young writing career. What a relief that will be! I’m currently at 167K words and I imagine it will continue to balloon until I cross the finish line. No projection on when that will happen, but it shouldn’t be too far in the future.

It’s also important I mention that my expansion for Kill Zombies, a novella I am currently expanding into novel-length for my publisher Kensington Gore is back in full swing. So there is no lack of writing projects for me!

July update on The Leopard Apocalypse

cropped-the-leopard-apocalypse-banner1.jpg

As most of you know, I’ve been working on the third book of my flagship Historical Fantasy series, The Leopard Apocalypse. Well I wanted to give everyone out there an update on what I’ve been doing for the past few weeks.

Well, in a nutshell, I’ve been writing up a storm for the past month. Almost every single writing session has yielded at least 1,000+ words per day. I even managed 2,500+ words written down for two days straight.

I hope to be done writing the first draft by late August to early September. This has been the most ambitious work I’ve ever undertaken, and I’ve already set a new personal record for word count. I’m closing in on 150K words and that’s with only 80% of the manuscript written.

Stay tuned for the next update, and I hope everyone’s having a great summer!

The Leopard Apocalypse update

LA-BANNER

With 2017 here, I thought I’d update everyone on my forthcoming novel, The Leopard Apocalypse.  I’ve been on a roll so far in 2017 writing the third novel in my flagship Leopard King Saga, and I’m hoping to complete the first draft by spring. In the meantime, I hope everyone is keeping their new year’s resolutions, and doing well.

More updates on The Leopard Apocalypse as they become available.

Leopard Apocalypse update

LAcover_3D

As many of you know, I’ve been working on The Leopard Apocalypse, the 3rd book of my flagship Leopard King Saga series for the past few months now. It’s been a challenge. I first started writing it in 2012 and since then haven’t had time to complete it. Mainly because of all the editing on my other books and new projects that have popped up in between. Then there’s the fact that in 2013 I embarked on my Independent Publishing journey which took up a lot of time. Can’t forget that!

Well things are proceeding slowly, but surely, and I hope to have regular updates for everyone.

Thanks for your patience, and Happy Holidays!
