September Leopard Apocalypse Update

LAcover_3D

It’s been a few months since my last update on The Leopard Apocalypse, so I wanted to let everyone know that I’m nearly finished with the first draft. Only three chapters remain to be completed, and I’ll be finished with the longest writing project in my young writing career. What a relief that will be! I’m currently at 167K words and I imagine it will continue to balloon until I cross the finish line. No projection on when that will happen, but it shouldn’t be too far in the future.

It’s also important I mention that my expansion for Kill Zombies, a novella I am currently expanding into novel-length for my publisher Kensington Gore is back in full swing. So there is no lack of writing projects for me!

When Health takes priority over Writing

It’s been a tough past two weeks. I had a nasty cyst removed from my forehead and two days later I found out I needed to have eye surgery on my right eye for a detached retina. This being the second eye surgery after suffering the same detached retina issue in my left eye less than two years ago. Blame it on my bad optical genes.

What makes it more frustrating is that I am nearing the stretch run for completing The Leopard Apocalypse, the third book in my Leopard King Saga Historical Fantasy series.  To add to that, I also was just beginning the rewrite for my new publisher Kensington Gore for my novella Kill Zombies.  The plan was to expand the novella into a novel for my publisher. Some of you may recall I signed a two-book publishing deal last February.

Well both are on hold for now.

It sucks. I know.

But some things are more important that writing. Yeah. It’s true. So I’ve been taking time off from writing. One from a Flagship series close to my heart and the other being a possible income grabber from a publisher I’m under contract to.

But there’s no other way around it. Without eyes I’m not able to write. So rest I must.

I’d like to hear from anyone out there who’s faced health challenges while in the midst of a productive work spree. As always, your comments are appreciate.

Talk to you soon!

What is May Magic?

What is May Magic you ask? I’ll tell ya, but first, let me update everyone on what the hell I’ve been up to lately(sorry for the ‘hell’ but I’m trying to be dramatic here). Been busy looking for a new day job and I found one. Really excited to get a chance to work for a new company, and continue sharing my writing with the world.

The Leopard Apocalypse, the third entry into my Flagship Leopard King Saga series, is moving along at a steady pace. Support from friends and family has been uplifting as always.

So that’s enough about me. May 2017 is here, and I wanted to share the Magic with you. May is the month that is the precursor to Summer, and Summer means blockbuster movie releases, end of school(for most), and hopefully, the start of something new and special.

Well the same rings true for me as well, so let me tell you that everything is possible. Whether you’re an artist or an engineer, every day brings its challenges, but with that comes the opportunity to live in the moment and release the unhealthy weight of the past and/or future.

Be yourself, and, make May Magical!

The Leopard Apocalypse update

LA-BANNER

With 2017 here, I thought I’d update everyone on my forthcoming novel, The Leopard Apocalypse.  I’ve been on a roll so far in 2017 writing the third novel in my flagship Leopard King Saga, and I’m hoping to complete the first draft by spring. In the meantime, I hope everyone is keeping their new year’s resolutions, and doing well.

More updates on The Leopard Apocalypse as they become available.

Leopard Apocalypse update

LAcover_3D

As many of you know, I’ve been working on The Leopard Apocalypse, the 3rd book of my flagship Leopard King Saga series for the past few months now. It’s been a challenge. I first started writing it in 2012 and since then haven’t had time to complete it. Mainly because of all the editing on my other books and new projects that have popped up in between. Then there’s the fact that in 2013 I embarked on my Independent Publishing journey which took up a lot of time. Can’t forget that!

Well things are proceeding slowly, but surely, and I hope to have regular updates for everyone.

Thanks for your patience, and Happy Holidays!

Tome IV teaser cover released

leopard-resurrection-4-ebook

I’ve had my graphic designer Damonza create a new shadow teaser book cover for the fourth-and final-Tome of my Leopard King Saga series, which I hope to release in 2020.

Why would I want a cover in place now for a book that’s almost 4 years away? Well, simple: there are folks who may want to add it to their to-read list on goodreads. Also I think it’s great to build some excitement ahead of the release of Tome III which is due out in late 2017.

Anyways, it features the trademark Leopard Door Knocker style which has been in place since Tome I, but under a veil of secrecy I hope to lift in the near future.

Hope everyone enjoys it.

Update on The Leopard Apocalypse

LA-BANNER

With all the work going into preparing my upcoming Young Adult novel, Guns And Dogs, for publication this summer, it’s been tough squeezing in time to resume writing the third Tome of my Flagship Leopard King Saga series, The Leopard Apocalypse. This book has been an on-again, off-again project since 2012.

Once Guns And Dogs is released I plan on focusing full-time in getting  The Leopard Apocalypse ready for publication in late 2017.

Please stay tuned for future updates on The Leopard Apocalypse as it becomes available.
