I wanted to give an update on Guns And Dogs, my upcoming YA adventure. Right now I’ve hit the quarter-mark in the manuscript. I’ve been cranking out 5000-7000 words per week in an attempt to get this book out by late-summer, early fall.

It’s been awhile since I posted (thanks flu!), so I felt a weekend update was necessary for my patient audience.
As most of you know I’m working on a new YA series called “American Legends”, with the first book in the trilogy to be called GUNS AND DOGS. What you didn’t know is that I’ve decided to expand the story and add some more exciting plot twists to it and make it an even better story. That’s why the outline needs to be tweaked and revised to add some more surprises to it. I’m sure everyone will agree that a few added surprises to this new YA trilogy can only make it more worthwhile.
I’ve now added July 1st, 2015 as the soft release date. The revised and expanded synopsis can be read HERE.

Back in August I ran a poll to see what type of book all my fans and friends wanted me to write next and the overwhelming response was a YA novel.
So after I take my break I’ll be starting up the word processor in January to begin writing a new YA book called Guns And Dogs. A YA thriller set in the near future, it will feature a High School Senior facing a life crisis, a pair of troubled teens with a fascination for guns, plus, you guessed it, Dogs.

As always, we’re busy here at LeopardKingSaga.com. In addition to my Flagship series “Leopard King Saga” and my second series, the sci-fi themed “Mindcop Dossiers” I’ve been planning to do a YA series for all my YA/NA friends out there.
It’s currently in the planning stages but the title of this new YA project is “American Legends” and its slotted to be a trilogy of books. The first book is titled “Guns And Dogs” and will contain Urban Fantasy elements.
I’m planning on releasing “Guns And Dogs” sometime next year. I’ll have updates as new information becomes available. In the meantime, check out the cover for “Guns And Dogs”.
