Why can’t Writers please everyone?

This is something that most writers worry about. The dreaded negative reviews that stem from someone’s rejection of your work.

Well, I’m sorry to say this but, it happens folks.

I’m sure you’ve heard term “Writing is Subjective.” Well so is every other medium of Art. You think Picasso didn’t have critics?

The best thing to do is not sweat it. I know that is easier said than done, but if bad reviews bother you then don’t check your reviews on Amazon, Goodreads or wherever your books are listed for sale.

It’s really easy. Sorta like breaking a bad habit. I’ve dealt with it and now every time someone says “I don’t like your books”, I just smile, thank them for their misguided opinion and say…

“That’s alright, someone else will.”
