If you’re a writer then you’ve faced writer’s block. What does that mean exactly? Writer’s block? Most will tell you it’s when you cannot write.
But that’s not the case. Here’s why.
You see, “writer’s block” is a misnomer, it fools writers into thinking they cannot write. Well, I have a better explanation: it just means you need to take a break from writing.
I don’t believe in writer’s block, never had, and never will. I do believe in burning out your creative impulses to the point that you don’t feel like writing. This is true for any endeavor that requires brain power in order to succeed.
Don’t buy into writer’s block-it doesn’t exist. Instead take a good, long break and you’ll be back to writing in no time.
