Harnessing creativity for better writing

Ever get stuck with the feeling of not wanting to write? Or how about not wanting to paint or do anything else creative. Well you’re not alone, it happens to all of us.

Everyone seems to have their own remedy for breaking their funk and getting back to work: some exercise, others read, some even try doing something else creative.

But through my own personal struggles I’ve found my own way of getting back to work. Something that works wonders.

I think positive.

Sounds easy right? Well it is, if you take it to heart. I recreate a pleasant memory and dwell on it, using it to stimulate my subconscious writing mind. I’ve found that it brings back that special feeling that all artists need to get back to work on their next project.

It may take time to master this recharging system, but when you do, you’ll start reaping the rewards it can bring. Then, you’ll be back on track to completing your masterpiece in no time.
